Honest to God Gerry I will sing the praises of your services from the roof tops, I've just got home from seeing #### and was straight away upset and feeling down, read this and now I'm like a boxer entering a ring knowing that finally someone else is seeing my side. During contact #### said as she does every time can I come to your house now mum and stay until morning. Another thing I've noticed with East Riding (our local authority) is that I feel like they're provoking us to relapse. We had to sit in a meeting for an hour last week and discuss contact reducing to once a month and #### calling her auntie mummy WHEN she moves there! I honestly feel like they keeping applying pressure so that we buckle and they win. Good try on their part but after this meeting I went home slapped on the war paint and attended contact with a smile - they will not let my daughter see me cry! We are being stereotyped with every failed parent out there.

I spoke to #### on the phone this morning before contact and the first thing she said was can I come and play today mum of course I said yes and her words were I'm so excited I'll go and get dressed now. Yes she's only 3 but she's a wonderfully intelligent little girl who would tell anyone who asked that she loves us and wants to live here. In my statement I will be including family photos taken during the time that we are meant to have been raging addicts showing Laila learning to swim holding animals on holiday etc. Also in relation to the reputation of East Riding, I had a call yesterday as our social worker is on holiday one of her colleagues rang and asked questions similar to those in the parenting assessment and said I know you've already answered this but ### is on holiday and she has the information and we need it again for the fostering panel, that didn't sit well with me but I'd already been tricked into answering them.
